Parent & Toddler Group
Come and join us and have fun at our Parent and Toddler group. The group meets on Wednesday in the Barnard Room at St. Augustine's Church from 10:00 am - 11:30 am.
We have lots of toys and each week we have different activities for the children. These include play dough, painting, sticking etc. We have parties at the end of the Christmas and summer terms and when the weather is nice we have use of the Vicar's garden, which is lovely.
The cost is £1.50 per family per session and we serve coffee, tea, squash and biscuits during the morning.
Please come and join us, we would love to see you! If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact Viv Emery on 020 8402 1318.
Children's Groups
Our groups for young people aim to help children to worship God, pray, understand the Bible and think about what it means to be a Christian today.
The groups meet in the church rooms during our services on a Sunday morning. The service starts at 10:00 am. At Holy Communion services children go to their classes first and then join their parents for communion. All children stay in the service for Parade Services (when the Scouts and Guides join us) and during our monthly Family Service which is aimed at every age group. Services last approximately one hour! A crèche room is available during the service for under 3's.
We have three children's groups. Click on the name of the group below to see more details.
| Climbers: | age 3-6 years |
| Explorers: | age 6-10 years |
| Pathfinders: | age 10-14 years |
As a church we give great priority to the work of our children's groups. We endeavour to sustain very high standards, supporting the leaders to ensure they can support your (and usually their own) children in a safe and secure environment. We adhere to child protection policy.
