Welcome to St Augustine's Church Click here if you are concerned about the global credit crunch and how it might affect you

May we extend to you a very warm welcome to our web site. We do hope that you will be able to find out all you need to know about St. Augustine's as you surf through the different pages; if not then email us and we'll try to help in whatever way we can.

This web site is updated at least weekly so do please make it a 'Favourite' and keep coming back! Our weekly Notice Sheets are available via the Church Notices menu item; also, back-issues of our Parish magazine, Roundabout, are available for you to download. And don't forget to check our News Page for any new developments.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Youth and Children's Worker - click here for details.

Being part of St. Augustine's is like being a part of an extended family. Of course that extended family is the family of faith in Jesus and it is this faith that holds us together. However, not all who come along feel that they are ready to be part of such a family and so many folk come along and join us for different reasons: baptism, weddings, our coffee shop Pop in Parlour, and the many social events that are held across the year, as well as our weekly services. We hope that all who come through the doors of the building will find a smiling face, a helping hand or someone just to talk to. Being a member of a loving Christian church family can help us to feel we really belong somewhere.

We'd like to feel that St. Augustine's could play an important role in life of the local community in this part of Bromley. Many different community groups and organisations use the facilities at the church. In any one week the church could be used by a video club, local 'Carers', Parent & Toddler group, Duke of Edinburgh Award group, Keep Fit Class for the older person, a children's party, Weight Watchers, and much, much more. All these are on top of our regular church events! Our hope and prayer is that St. Augustine's will be a place where people can feel that they belong and so come to know the full extent of God's love for us all, and to believe in all that Jesus has done for each one of us.

Happy surfing!
