Barnard Room

Garden Room

• Capacity: Approx 80 people
• Separate entrance through Memorial Garden
• Carpeted floor
• Tea bar - equipped with crockery and urn
• Use of large kitchen also available with this room

Church

• Suitable for Concerts and Conferences, in conjunction with the other rooms
• Capacity: 200 people
• Entrance through main church door

All Rooms - facilities:

• Toilets, including disabled facilities, portable ramp for wheelchair access, ample chairs and tables.
• Licensed by the Performing Rights Society for recorded and live music.
• No alcohol without permission
   

 

Scale of Charges

The following rates are applicable from 1 September 2007 until 31 August 2008.

They cover the costs of heating, lighting, cleaning, maintenance and various copyright licences.

 

SECTION A - Church-supported Organisations

Uniformed organisations and registered charitable organisations supported by the Church	£11.00 per hour
Diocesan/Deanery events	£11.00 per hour

                                                         

 

SECTION B - Other Organisations

(e.g. Townswomen’s Guild, Orpington Film and Video Club, Keep Fit classes and other charitable organisations that use the rooms regularly)

Barnard Room	£16.50 per hour
Garden Room	£16.50 per hour

                                                                          

 

SECTION C - Occasional Users (e.g. parties)

Barnard Room (if cooking facilities required, see also SECTION E)	£20.00 deposit * + £22.00 per hour
Garden Room (if cooking facilities required, see also SECTION E)	£20.00 deposit * + £22.00 per hour

*Deposit is non–returnable in the case of cancellation and forms part of the total charge.

These charges include the use of tea/coffee making facilities.

 

SECTION D - Church                          

Use of Church by prior arrangement with the Vicar

£33.00 per session + £10.00 per hour

 

SECTION E - Kitchen                             

Use of kitchen for preparation of meals

£10.00 per session
