St. Augustine's with St. Luke's, Bromley Common

We are part of the Church of England and see ourselves as a Christian community whose mission is to offer all in our parish the opportunity to hear, experience and respond to the love of Jesus Christ.

Visiting for the first time

Visitors are always welcome and we'd love to meet you and introduce ourselves.

If you've never been to our church before, here are a few things you might like to know.

What should I wear?

Whatever you are comfortable in. Some people like to come in shorts and a t-shirt, others wear their 'Sunday best'. It's entirely up to you, God doesn't mind what you wear when you worship him.

Do I need to be invited?

No, just come along. You might want to arrive a few minutes early to settle into your seat before we start, but even if you're late, we'll give you a warm welcome.

Do I need to bring money?

No, it's free to come along and you can join us afterwards for a cup of tea as well (which is free). Our regular members contribute financially and we have an offertory plate in church, but we never ask for money from our visitors.

How long does the service last?

Our 10.00 am Sunday service lasts about an hour - Refreshments are served after the 10.00 am service and you would be most welcome to join us and have a chat and a biscuit.

Are children welcome?

Yes! Primary School age children are welcome to join our Club JC which meets in the Garden Room at the same time as the service, ( currently only on the first and fourth Sunday of the month).   Children are welcome on the carpet at the front of the church with toys, books and colouring  provided. Babies are very welcome and you are welcome to breastfeed anywhere in the church at any time during our services.
