to our Top of the Pew quartet,
who won last year’s competition. It was an interesting – if nail biting – evening as they played against St Barnabas, Beckenham.
Twelve rounds covered a wide variety of subjects. The food and drink round revealed that both teams knew more about chocolate and sweets than fruit!
Thank you to Liz Carter, Andrew Gurney, Lucy Adcock and Richard Jones for their brainpower and continued dedication to the quiz. £743 was raised for this year’s charity, Every Breath, which supports those with lung cancer and their families.
